So what does that really mean?  Designing the structural system for every project requires a bit of creativity; but, a buildings structure, while essential to both the form and integrity of the finished product, is rarely celebrated as a work of art.  In fact, it most commonly serves only a skeletal and muscular purpose while buried deep within an aesthetically pleasing façade.  We believe that it can be much more than that and we take great pride in our ability to design sustainable structures that complement and enhance a buildings architecture, not just support it.

ERS Consulting Engineers was founded on the principle that a building's structure can often be an asset to its aesthetic. Whether wood, steel, concrete or any other building material, it does not always have to remain hidden within the walls or obscured by costly finishes. Often times it is worth celebrating and these are the projects that fuel our passion to come to work every day.
